Twitter artist Chien Chih Kang has recreated Naruto and Sasuke’s final battle in the style of legendary ukiyo-e in their amazing fan art.
Sasuke against. Naruto It is one of the most epic battles in all the manga, as the series concluded 700 chapters. Before it came to fruition, it was probably the most anticipated fight, as the confrontation between the two had been a teasing since they first fought in Final Valley at the end of Part One. ukiyo-e art style, which redesigns Naruto and Sasuke for a legendary look.
Naruto and Sasuke’s final battle was the climax of the series and was the culmination of everything the two had learned from the beginning. They threw everything they had at each other, from literal ninja paraphernalia like shuriken and kunai, to trade strikes in monstrous chakra states. Fighting is very symbolic, both Naruto and Sasuke’s attacks symbolize their personality bows. even some Naruto The toughest critics admit that the fight is a major high point in the series and a fitting depository for one of the most famous shounen series ever created.
Fighting themes with an emphasis on legend are depicted in Chien Chih Kang’s ukiyo-e style artwork (user handle @Justin96636) found in Twitter. The left side of the image depicts Naruto jumping into Sasuke with a Rasengan in hand, while Kurama looms above him with his fangs exposed in the background. Sasuke is almost a mirror image of Naruto. Except he’s holding Chidori in his hand while the perfect Susanoo waves to confront Kurama. This giant samurai chakra drawing is interesting in its design. Susanoo’s mask is similar to how it is drawn in the manga, but this time it is drawn more accurately to depict a tengu – a type of yokai bird in Japanese myth.
cool like this Naruto fanart is, there are two differences from manga worth noting. First of all, Sasuke’s Susanoo color is blue rather than purple, but this is likely because purple is not a commonly used color in classic ukiyo-e style, and so the artist took creative liberty in portraying Sasuke’s jutsu. The second is the location of Naruto and Sasuke. In their encounters throughout the manga, Naruto is always on the right and Sasuke on the left, a creative choice made so that their signature jutsus can line up with each other. This is also subtly alluded to in It evolved that Naruto and Sasuke were already reincarnated brothers. Neither of these things takes the quality of the artwork away from that. These creative variations actually enhance the art as they give full meaning to the piece’s style.
Kang is a really great artist as can be seen with many Legendary redesigns of Dragon Ball Characters like Majin Buu or Frieza. Even with some slight differences, this legendary redesign of Naruto And the Sasuke The final fight is incredible and perfectly captures the excitement and passion that came with it.
