Albert, 64, said: “We missed the princess so much. We were obviously hurt by the malicious rumors that were being circulated. But we were able to stay united despite the distance. We talked to each other a lot.”
“Today, Charlene is back with us and this is the most beautiful thing that can happen,” he continued. “It’s better, we can finally spend time together. It’s a source of relief and joy for all of us.”
Albert’s interview happened before the palace confirmed to Fox News Digital on Saturday that Charlene had tested positive for COVID-19.
